Cameras
This guide will cover using cameras for your Condo or map.
You can use Camera Volumes and the Camera IO item to setup custom cameras for certain gameplay needs. These items can be found in the Condo IO/Game Objects tab.
Camera IO
Camera IO will set the player's view to the camera's point of view.
To start using Cameras, you will need to first place a camera. You can find the Camera IO in the Condo IO/Game Objects tab.
Camera IO can be activated by I/O input items, such as Buttons, Trigger Volumes, or a Camera Volumes.
Camera's come with various settings such as FOV, aspect ratio, and overlays.
If you want the Camera to automatically activate and deactivate while inside an area, use the Camera Volume.
Testing Your Camera
You can quickly see what the Camera sees by editing the Camera and clicking on Test Camera.
Camera Volume
In order to use the Camera Volume, you will need to equip the Connection Tool.
Once equipped, you will need to select a Camera IO and connect it to the Camera Volume.
Now when a player enters the volume, their view will be from the camera's view point.
If you want to change the camera that is connected to the camera volume you can use the SetCamera I/O input on the Camera Volume.
Static Camera
By default Camera IO is static. You can just place down a Camera IO camera, which can be found in the Condo IO/Game Objects tab.
Auto Ending Camera
You can have the Camera automatically return back to a player by using the Auto End feature with an Auto End Delay.

This camera will stay fixed but will follow the player.
- Place down a Camera IO camera, which can be found in the Condo IO/Game Objects tab.

Cutscene/Animated Camera
This will create a camera that follows a path it goes down over a fixed duration.
Creating moving cameras requires knowledge of the Spline Editor.
- Place down a Camera IO camera, which can be found in the Condo IO/Game Objects tab.
- Edit the Camera IO and check on Move Along Path.
- Set a Duration in the Duration settings section.
- Edit the Spline Path to your liking.
You will notice while editing a camera, the spline path will have a camera icon above each node. This represents the camera angle that will be eased to as the camera goes across the path. You can rotate these with the gizmo editor.
